Loving Mother

Edith Gooch “PooPoo” Clark, 54 of 36 Silver Street, passed away Tuesday, April 3, 2012, at the VITAS Innovative Care Unit at St. Mary’s Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.

Edith was born in Waterbury on December 2, 1957, daughter of Martha (Hawley) Gooch of New Bedford, MA and the late Eddie Gooch. She was educated at local schools and she was formerly employed as a CNA at the Whitewood Manor Nursing Center in Waterbury.

Besides her mother, she leaves to mourn her passing, her two sons, Trevor Clark and his wife Lisa of Meriden, Eric Clark of Bristol, her daughter, Alicia Clark of El Paso, Texas, her brother, Ronnie Gooch of Waterbury, four sisters, Beverly Arline and Janice Garrett both of New Bedford, MA, Julia Gooch and Jacqueline Andrews and her husband Callis both of Waterbury, 12 grandchildren, Jacqueline, Tristen, Keegan, Ryan, Jay, Desiree, Yvonne, Shanell, Kyra, Cornelius, Ashley, and Jeremiah Clark and a great granddaughter, Juliann Folch Ventresca and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by her daughter, Temika Clark and her brother, Eddie Gooch.

Arrangements: Funeral Service will be held Saturday, 11:00 a.m. at Chase Parkway Memorial/The Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway, Waterbury. Private Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Calling hour will be held Saturday, 10:00 am until time of service at the funeral home. Friends and family may call at other times at 203 Transit Street, Waterbury, the home of her sister Jackie.
