Barbara Sayers
Mrs. Barbara (Ensero) Sayers, 58 of Waterbury, died Wednesday, December 31, 2008 at the Silver Springs Center in Meriden after a long illness. She was the wife of Kenneth Sayers.
Barbara was born in Waterbury on November 2, 1950, daughter of the late Thomas and Grace (Denzio) Ensero. She was employed at Heritage Village until her illness.
Besides her husband she leaves two daughters: Crystal Mayers of Red Lion, PA and Renee Daggett of Shelton, a sister: Philomena Computaro of Hamden and five grandchildren.

Mr. Henry Gelinas, 75, of 139 Boyd Drive Prospect, died Friday January 2, 2009 at St. Marys Hospital. He was the widower of Michael DiBeneditto.
Henry was born in Waterbury on August 22, 1933. He served in the US Navy. He was a chef at various restaurants and nursing homes until his retirement.
He leaves a sister in law Cynthia "Cindy" DiBeneditto and her partner Jacquie Harding of Kingston, NY and his father in law and mother in law, Michael and Mary DiBeneditto of Lantana, FL.
Arrangements: A memorial service will be held at a time to be announced. There are no calling hours. Arrangements are private and at the convenience of the family.

Director. St. Vincent DePaul Homeless Shelter
Mrs. Mary L. (McGrath) Mauriello, 78 of 46 Revere Street, Waterbury, died peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, December 31, 2008 at her home. She was the wife of Orlando "Mike" Mauriello for 44 years.
Mary was known as Miss Mary was born November 2, 1930 in Burlington, Vermont, the eldest daughter of the late Harold and Leath (Wells) McGrath. She graduated from Cathedral High School on Burlington and earned her license to practice nursing at The Mary Fletcher Hospital in Burlington.
Mary lived her formative years in Burlington, until marrying Orlando "Mike" Mauriello in May of 1964 and moving to 46 Revere Street in Waterbury with her nine children. She was employed by Waterbury Hospital for several years before becoming the first Director of the St. Vincent DePaul Homeless Shelter on Benedict Street in Waterbury.
Mary was instrumental, along with the Rev. Philip Coscia with launching the States largest Homeless Shelter and manned the position of Director for 21 years. Throughout the 21 years Mary was with the shelter, she received numerous awards and recognition’s including the Waterbury Attorneys Bar Associations. Liberty Bell. Miss Mary reluctantly left her position as Director in 2005, due to her illness, without missing one day of work.
Mary and her family vacationed every year in Aruba. In 1998 Mary and her husband Mike were made Honorary Citizens of Aruba by the Aruba Parliament.
Besides her husband she leaves seven children, Donald Gadue Jr. and his wife Kathy of Milton, Vermont, Stephen Gadue and his wife Cheryl of Waterbury, John R. Gadue of Waterbury, Mike Mauriello of Thomaston, Susan Mauriello of Naugatuck, Paul Mauriello and his wife Kathy of Waterbury, John Mauriello and his wife Anna of Prospect, a brother Harry McGrath and his wife Karen of Coconut Creek, Florida, a sister, Sandra (McGrath) Bourgea and her husband Gil of South Burlington, VT, several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a son Phillip Mauriello, a daughter, Melody Gadue and a brother John McGrath.
Arrangements: Funeral Tuesday 9 a.m. at Chase Parkway Memorial/The Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway to Blessed Sacrament Church for a mass at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Calling hours Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made in memory of Mary to VNA Health at Home, Inc. 27 Siemon Company Drive, Watertown, CT 06795
