WATERBURY

Mrs. Adeline "Lee" (Longhi) Carlascio, 84, formerly of DeCicco Road Waterbury, died Friday March 12, 2010 at the Meridian Manor Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was the widow of Ferdinand L. Carlascio.

Lee was born in Waterbury on November 16, 1925, daughter of the late Louis and Theresa (Berardi) Longhi. She graduated from Webster Grammar School and Wilby High School class of 1943. She worked as a secretary for Astro-Tek Associates for 14 years and later at Allied Control of Plantsville for eight years retiring in 1982. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Lourdes Church.

She leaves a son Robert Carlascio and his wife Marie; a daughter, Susan DiTota and her husband Edward all of Waterbury; a sister, Mrs. Pat Destefano of Waterbury; four grandchildren, Steven DiTota and his wife Christina of Southington, Jennifer Scully and her husband James Jr. of Naugatuck, Jason and Jeff Carlascio both of Waterbury; and five great grandchildren, Michael, Maria, Julia, Lauren, and Madelyn.

The family would like to thank the staff of the Meridean Manor for their special care given to Lee during her stay.

Arrangements: Funeral Monday 11:00 AM from Chase Parkway Memorial/The Albini Family Funeral Home 430 Chase Parkway Waterbury, to Our Lady of Lourdes Church for a mass at 12:00 PM. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Calling hours Sunday from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.

Mr. Anthony J. "Zeke" Zurlo, 75 of 1141 East Main St., passed away Friday March 12, 2010 at St. Mary’s Hospital. He was the fiancee of Maryann Perazzella.

Mr. Zurlo was born in Waterbury on May 16, 1934, son of the late Domenic & Emma (Rocco) Zurlo. He attended Leavenworth High School and was employed at Reymond's Bakery until his retirement in 1992. He was a member of the US Army, Teamsters Union Local 677, Hill St. Social Club, Aviglianese Club and a communicant of SS. Peter & Paul Church. He was an avid Yankee fan.

Besides his fiancee of Wolcott, he leaves a sister, Jean (Zurlo) Couture and her husband Raymond of Waterbury, a nephew, David Couture and his wife Rhea Tompkins of Portland, a niece, Judith Schilling and her husband Raymond of Naugatuck, a grandnephew, Michael Couture and three grandnieces, Alyssa Couture, Emma Schilling and Madison Schilling.

Peter M. Grosso Sr.

WATERBURY

Mr. Peter M. Grosso Sr., 95, of Waterbury passed away surrounded by his entire loving family on Wednesday March 10, 2010 at Bucks Hill Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. He was the husband of Mary N. (Santaguida) Grosso.

Mr. Grosso was born in Waterbury on January 29, 1915, son of the late Michael & Louise (Montagno) Grosso. He was employed at Benrus Watch Co. for many years until his retirement. He was a communicant of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church and his hobbies included woodworking, hunting and listening to music.

Besides his wife of 68 years, he leaves two sons, Peter M. Grosso Jr. and his wife Maryann of Waterbury and Robert Grosso and his wife Wendy of Farmington and two grandchildren, Michael Grosso and his wife Lisa, and Sherri (Grosso) Ruffini and fiancee Tony Engala. He also leaves three sisters in law, Josephine Carusello, Sarah Santaguida, Edith Kalach, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He will be remembered with love and laughter in our hearts and thoughts forever and deeply missed.
